Mission Statement: The Comadre A Comadre Project is committed to empowering the lives of Hispanic/Latina women and their loved ones through advocacy, education, information, resources, and support about breast health and breast cancer.

The project provides one-on-one peer support and follow-up at both the clinic and community level. They provide one-on-one educational conversations for women and their loved ones and group educational conversations and offer a bi-weekly-bilingual support group. They also conduct community outreach to increase awareness about the early detection of breast cancer and make referrals for low-cost women health exams. They integrate traditional Hispanic/Latino cultural values such as the importance of family and spirituality. Comadre A Comadre offers their services in both English and Spanish and free of charge.
