Membership - Applicant Rights
The National Office of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Incorporated is against hazing of any form as a prerequisite to membership in the sorority. It is a fundamental right that an applicant for membership in the sisterhood of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. be free from harassment, whether by physical or mental abuses associated with hazing activities, by individual members or chapters of the Sorority during the membership Intake Process.
An applicant is charged with the responsibilities and obligations not to allow herself to be subjected to such abuses, nor to participate in any activity during which these abuses occur, and to report such abuses or occurrences as soon as practicable to the Sorority's chapter officers, chapter advisors, Regional Officers, National Officers and/or National Headquarters, as appropriate. Any hazing reports can be made anonymously to the National Office by contacting the appropriate national officer (see below) and will be investigated by the sorority. Failure to report hazing may result in the applicant being barred from membership in the sorority.
