The Corinne A. Ahrens Award for Distinguished Service
The Corinne A. Ahrens Award for Distinguished Service was named in honor of the woman who served on various national committees and held leadership roles in her chapters and nationally, such as
- Serving as the esteemed first National President of the Sorority
- Playing an integral role in organizing the Sorority's first National Convention as well as the 2001 National Convention in Washington, D.C.
- Assisting in the establishment of the Graduate, Professional and Alumnae (GAP) program and the first GAP colony
- Serving as the first Director of GAP Intake
This award may be presented at a National Convention to one Theta Woman who has represented the Sorority's tenets in an extraordinary fashion and held membership over an extended period of time.
The women who are awarded the Corinne A. Ahrens Award for Distinguished Service have demonstrated their dedication to the National Organization through involvement at the local, regional and national level.

For the "Fear No ONE: Empowerment and Self-defense" leadership workshop in which the University police department and a local Kung Fu master taught participants how to stay safe and protected.
****Four Star Chapter****
For the 2nd year in a row, this chapter was the only member of the Multicultural Greek Council to earn this award.
