Resources - Philanthropy
We fulfill our mission of involvement in and service to the campus and community through various philanthropic efforts.
National Philanthropy
Theta Nu Xi's national philanthropy is the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ). NCCJ, founded in 1927 as The National Conference for Christians and Jews, is a human relations organization dedicated to fighting bias, bigotry and racism. NCCJ promotes understanding and respect among all races, religions and cultures through advocacy, conflict resolution and education.
All of our chapters donate both time and money to NCCJ. From participating in NCCJ's Walk as ONE and Anytown programs to raising awareness on campus and in the community about NCCJ, its mission and important research, the members of Theta Nu Xi are committed to spreading the word.

Local Community Scholarships
Theta Nu Xi supports women who are not members of the sorority yet exemplify our tenets of scholarship, service, sisterhood, multiculturalism, and leadership. To assist these amazing women as they work towards a higher education, every undergraduate chapter awards an annual $200 scholarship to a deserving student at their university. For students in the Washington, DC area, GAP Chapter Xi Gamma offers a $500 scholarship, the Mosaic Award.
Applications vary by chapter. If you are interested in learning more, please contact your local Theta Nu Xi Chapter or the National Director of Philanthropy and Fundraising.
National Member Scholarship
In order to promote and recognize outstanding scholastic achievement among the membership, Theta Nu Xi offers one annual $250 scholarship to an undergraduate sister. This sister must be able to demonstrate outstanding achievement within the chapter and the campus community and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
