Allyship Training

This year, we are excited to offer an in-depth Allyship Workshop facilitated by Service Never Sleeps. This five-hour training workshop will focus on "allyship" as an active way of life that utilizes bridge-building to ensure equality, opportunity, and inclusion for everyone. Benefits of attending this workshop include:
  1. Diversity Hours for all attendees
  2. Connection to multicultural tenet and anti-oppression strategy
  3. Opportunity to bring learning and activities to chapters and regions
Please note that attendance and participation in the Allyship Training is REQUIRED for delegates. This is why we have been intentional in scheduling it after any legislation/budget/elections business sessions (click here to review the most updated schedule).

As a reminder, the Allyship Training will be conducted by Service Never Sleeps Founder and CEO Whitney Parnell, who has been retained by our organization to provide you with this professional development training that she has developed and is known for. This is an investment that our organization is making into your professional development so that you may walk away from Convention having learned new skills that can not only enrich your personal and professional lives, but also to contribute to your participation in your community in a way that is aligned with our mission statement, and so that you may then impart the knowledge you acquire unto your chapter members and other sisters. The National Board is also developing the Multicultural Framework to help lead the organization in the engagement of our Multiculturalism tenet. The information from the Allyship Training is an important part of our continued learning and development in a shared language around multiculturalism.

We look forward to seeing the wonderful things we can accomplish together during this training with you and Convention as a whole!
